Fred Bartels has been in education for over 20 years - 13 of which have been in administration. As a successful building principal, he concluded the best outcomes stem from decisions made in the best interests of the students. He prioritizes professional development to ensure staff have the skills to support the success of students, which has successfully resulted in substantial gains in student achievement.

This plenary panel will discuss strategies for building implementation literacy and building an implementation culture to promote effective implementation of evidence-based practices. Specific topics include Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
